Trimellitic Anhydride (TMA) is a white to slightly yellow needle shaped crystal. As a raw material for excellent heat resistance and weather resistance plasticizers, its consumption is constantly increasing. More than 90% of the total consumption is used for the production of polyvinyl chloride plasticizer dioctyl phthalate. Used as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, it can improve the heat resistance, cold resistance, solvent resistance, and electrical insulation properties of polyvinyl chloride. Secondly, it is used to manufacture polyester resins and polyimide resins, water-soluble polyester resins, water-soluble polyurethane resins, water-soluble amino alkyd resins, as well as advanced aviation lubricants, power capacitor impregnating oils, granular binders, sizing agents, smoke suppressants, instant binders, etc.
