Product Description
Calcium alginate dressing is made of calcium alginate fiber non-woven fabric. Calcium alginate has hydrophilicity and can absorb exudate from wounds. After contacting the exudate containing sodium ions in the wound, the sodium ions in the exudate exchange with the calcium ions in the alginate fiber, making the solid alginate fiber rapidly transform into hydrophilic wet gel, forming a wet environment conducive to wound healing. It can wrap the bacteria and necrotic tissue debris on the wound surface and lock them in the gel to help the wound quickly stop bleeding and promote healing. This gel can be easily removed from the wound by washing with 0.9% normal saline.
