Product Description

Gas phase silica is a nano-sized white powder generated by the high-temperature hydrolysis of silicon halides in a hydrogen oxygen flame, commonly known as gas phase white carbon black. It is an amorphous silica product with a primary particle size between 7-40nm and an aggregate particle size of about 200-500 nm, a specific surface area of 100-400m2/g, high purity, and a SiO2 content of not less than 99.8%. Untreated gas-phase silica aggregates on the surface contain multiple silicon hydroxyl groups.
